Minnesota Timberwolves

When the Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles in 1960, its fans seriously missed their basketball. So the NBA rewarded the Twin Cities metro, expanding the league and introducing the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1989. With devoted fans and a playful mascot named 'Crunch,' the team made the post-season commonplace, including 8 consecutive playoff berths. In 2004, this team from the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes' won its first division title.
