Dallas Mavericks

When the NBA expanded in 1980, it headed west. Dallas, Texas to be precise. After a contest was held asking fans to suggest the new team's name, 'Mavericks' was chosen. The name is a great reflection of this Western Conference playoff regular. With an aggressive, fast-paced attack, the Mavs have captured one conference and four division titles. Two of their biggest rivals include the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns.
