Charlotte Bobcats

Named after the athletic felines native to the Carolina wilderness, the Charlotte Bobcats leapt into the NBA in 2004 as an expansion team. Two seasons after the previous team relocated to New Orleans, the 'Cats started play in the Southwest Division of the Eastern Conference. Bobcats mascot 'Rufus Lynx' keeps fans in stitches with his nonstop antics and entertaining dance moves. The team has made the playoffs once since its inception.
