The Nets' NBA journey began in 1976 as the New York Nets. In 2012 the team became the Brooklyn Nets. The team has bounced between arenas across the New York metropolitan area. The team netted success in the late '80s and early '90s. During the 2000s, they caught 2 conference and 4 division titles, thrilling fans on both sides of the Hudson River.
