About the Show
"Run It Back" is a fast moving, kid-friendly, video game-like replay of mid-week NBA games. Run It Back is basketball action combined with special effects, trivia, interviews, pop-ups and exclusive videos featuring the world's greatest athletes. It's one part replay, one part video game, one part basketball camp and all parts fun for the next generation of NBA fans, … and maybe even players!

Kyle Montgomery serves as host of the awesome new hoops show "Run It Back" on Cartoon Network. Montgomery also hosts "The Jump" for NBA TV and NBA.com, working on various programming and providing online highlights, updates and reports for the NBA as well.
Prior to joining NBA TV and NBA.com, he worked in a unique duel-role in Montgomery, Ala., serving as sports director for FOX affiliate WCOV and sports anchor/reporter for NBC affiliate WSFA. Kyle was the first ever African-American sports anchor for the WSFA in it's 50 year history. His first television experience came courtesy of WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg, Ms. While in the pine belt he had the opportunity to interview Icons like Jerry Rice, Steve McNair, Brett Favre and Spike Lee, he also had the honor of covering the New Orleans Saints return to the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina.
Kyle was born and raised in Kansas City, KS, where he developed a love for sports at a very young age. At 5 years old, Kyle was yelling and chanting while watching his hometown Kansas City Chiefs play on Monday Night Football.
His passion and his dad's coaching led Kyle to play sports from elementary all the way through high school. Kyle's mom, sister, and brother also chipped in with a game of catch or basketball here and there.
Kyle received a bachelor's degree from Alabama State University in Radio/Television Broadcasting. While at ASU he was an active member of NABJ and was awarded Best Student Reporter by the Alabama Associated Press.
Kyle's hobbies include shooting hoops, flag football, fishing, playing Playstation 3, reading and spending time with his son Makhi and wife Cambreisha.
